Glavé & Holmes Architecture (G&HA) is excited to announce two new hires!
Scott Kyle, AIA, LC, LEED AP has joined Glavé & Holmes’ Higher Education Studio. He has 19 years of experience in the industry and previously managed his own practice. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Biomedical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Architecture with a focus in Energy Systems & Design from Texas A&M University. He is a Registered Architect in Virginia, a Certified Lighting Designer, and a LEED Accredited Professional. He has also recently become at Virginia Certified Master Naturalist. He has a passion for sustainability with involvement in many green initiatives including Richmond Green Drinks, In-Light, the Daily Planet, COTE, JRGBC. Scott’s portfolio ranges from high-efficiency LED lighting design to master planning, new school design to solar thermal/electric installations. Scott and his wife have also become proud stewards of an urban permaculture garden in the Museum District where they can be found most weekends.
Jake Wiseman, AIA has joined Glavé & Holmes’ Hospitality Studio. He has a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Interior Design from Auburn University. Jake worked most recently as a Senior Associate at Commonwealth Architects. With 18 years of experience, he has been involved in several prominent preservation projects and has experience with facilities in various market sectors, including multi-family, commercial, and healthcare. He has overseen projects ranging from 650 to more than 240,000 square feet with state and local agencies, as well as private developers. Jake is a registered architect in Virginia, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. Jake is an avid runner and spends his free time as a Marathon Training Team Coach.
