Glavé & Holmes Architecture (G&HA) is pleased to announce the continued growth of our firm with three new hires!
Michelle Maitland is new our accounting department and comes to G&HA from CB&I, formerly The Shaw Group. She was a Project Accountant on their Honeywell project and worked with all aspects of accounting. Michelle is working toward an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Strayer University and has completed coursework in accounting at Richard Bland College. She also holds a Legal Secretary diploma from Braxton School of Business.
Erika Malanoski joins our Higher Education Studio. She comes to G&HA from her recent position at HKS, Inc. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor in Architecture and a minor in Industrial Design. In her 5th year, Erika was a Pella Prize finalist, Virginia Tech’s 5th year award. She participated in Virginia Tech’s Fall Travel program and has interned with firms in NYC and Washington D.C. Erika was the recipient of an AIA Richmond Alice Lehman Sunday Prize Honorable Mention in 2015.
Janahvi Ramakrishnan joins our Urban Architecture Studio. She recently graduated from Pennsylvania State with a Master in Architecture and received a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India. She interned at Stantec, Inc. in New York and did a summer internship with an interior architecture firm in Bangalore prior to that. While at Penn State, she was a Graduate Assistant for the School of Arts and Architecture, a Grading Assistant in the School of Engineering, and earned an Honorable Mention Kossman Design Thesis Award for her thesis on Mumbai.
